Jennifer Apetz is a Rochester New York fine art artist who has been exhibiting original art in the Rochester area since 1979. Jennifer's education always centered around art. In 1978 she recieved her B.A. with Art Honors Distinction from SUNY-Oneonta. 1980-1981 Found Jennifer at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts; and in the early 90's she studied printmaking at R.I.T.
In the '80's Jennifer taught drawing and painting to children at the Jewish Community Center and at the Allofus Art Workshop. Jennifer has demonstrated her watercolor painting style, and watercolor crayon technique, to Rochester art groups. Jennifer has also taught watercolor painting to adults in her home studio, and is currently offering a Pastel Class through the Rochester New York Memorial Art Gallery Creative Workshop.
Jennifer is an award winning member of the Rochester Art Club, and the Rochester Print Club. She serves on the board of the Rochester Print Club, and is also an exhibiting member of the Print Club of Albany. In 1998 Jennifer recieved the Patron Print Award from the Memorial Art Gallery.
Jennifer's work is in the permanent collections of the Memorial Art Gallery, The Albany Print Museum, The Red Cross, Harris Beach Wilcox, Rubin, and Levy law offices, Bausch & Lomb Inc., and many other offices and private homes.
Jennifer's work can be seen in the office of Ferrel's Garage Inc. at 365 University Avenue, Rochester, New York. Jennifer also welcomes visits to her home studio, and accepts commission work. |
